Up for your consideration is a hard to find vintage 40's sky blue dress by a fabulous designer Claire McCardell. Plunging v neckline with a sophisticated necktie to leave some for the imagination. The bodice is splendid with pleated pin tucks under the bust for more enhancement. The neckline even has light tucks! With the 3/4 sleeve length this dress can be worn many seasons. The wide circle skirt you can go dancing or just twirl around with the excitement of owning a Claire McCardell! Please note that the skirt does have some fading on it, it shows some in the pictures under the bright photography lights. But in order for the fading to really be noticeable while wearing it you would have to pull the skirt to the fullest. Anyway, the fading is there and if desired the new owner can have it professionally dyed. Also note the tiny dot stain in the picture. Zips down the side of the waist for closure with a nylon zipper, evidentially this zipper replaced an older one. The dress has string belt loops but no belt. Sold as is, no returns, no refunds, all sales final.
