You are viewing an incredible vintage 60's cashmere by the designer Dalton 3 piece suit set. First let me say, this set is New With Tags!!! (NWT) Some call it New Old Stock (NOS), whatever you want to call it I call it Fabulous! I am dating this around 1959 or early 60's. According to the VFG the sweater labels are 60's and the skirt label is 50's. But it definitely matching set. Each piece was sold separately.
The great thing about this set, is that it can be worn almost any season of the year! First you have the long sleeve button up cashmere cardigan, accented on the waist band and lapel with a little delicate edge. The cuff can be straight or rolled up. Then you have the sleeveless, SHEER cashmere with a lacey weave to the fabric. Great for spring summer! Then thirdly, the matching wool skirt, it is a light weight wool. Partially lined. The skirt is also new with tags but is has a tiny hole near the waist, see picture. The sweater would cover it up when worn though. And the best thing about ALL 3 pieces, Hot Pink! What every lady loves!!
The skirt measurements are as follows: Waist 28", Hips 40", Length 26.5".
